Yeah.  JWZ beat you to the speculation, I&#039;m afraid; it&#039;s a recurring theme in his &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.jwz.org/doc/java.html&quot;&gt;Why Java Sucks&lt;/a&gt; rant:
