Oh yeah, I totally forgot about Descent. Never made it through that one, but they were at least trying something different. I don't like upgrades either - that's one of the reasons why I highly recommend console gaming. With them, you put down your $200 or so and are set for the next several years. Plus, the games actually work correctly when you buy them, instead of needing a series of patches to fix basic functionality...

I don't think that "politically incorrect" is quite the right term for the GTA series, but I will say that GTA:SA (the only game in the series I've played) was stunning. Anyways, yes, lunch soon sounds good, maybe the middle or end of the month?

Hi David! I had no idea you were so much of a gamer. I'm a bit of a gamer myself, having gone through the Doom and Quake series, with a detour through the Descent series. What limits my gaming is the necessity to upgrade platforms in order to run the more recent stuff... which is probably a good thing. Lately though I've been going through the GTA series. I think these guys wrote the book on "policitically incorrect" ! Great fun. Lunch sometime soon? -- s'marks
