		<description>Yeah, I was curious about where it first showed up in video games, but, wherever that was, D&amp;D is probably where it first came from.  Having said that, it feels different in video games than it does in my dim recollections of paper/dice RPGs.  Dungeons and the overworld aren&#039;t so different, but the roles of towns are pretty different: I think they&#039;re much more of a destination in video games than in paper/dice RPGs.  I think it&#039;s because towns in video games provide (a weak form of) interaction that you&#039;d instead get from your fellow players in paper/dice RPGs.</description>

		<description>Maybe everyone who would play Okami knows this, but the name is a great Japanese double entendre: &#039;okami&#039; means wolf, and &#039;o-kami&#039; (that is, &#039;kami&#039; with an honorific &#039;o&#039;) means &#039;god&#039;.

(Now, if only I could speak enough Japanese to tell simple stories about my children to their relatives...)</description>
