But yes, I share your opinion of GTA3. The first game I played in this series was GTA Vice City. The plot is a bit thin in places but it provided a realistic and compelling sense of time and place that I found quite captivating. GTA:SA continued this approach and in places was truly inspired. (For example, &lt;i&gt;Dance Dance Revolution&lt;/i&gt; with low-riders.)

Somewhat perversely, though, I decided to stop playing GTA:SA partway through and switch to GTA3. I&#039;m not quite sure why; something like saving the best for last, or making sure to eat all of one&#039;s vegetables before having dessert. In any case GTA3 is quite boring compared to the others and I eventually stopped playing it entirely.

I&#039;d like to try out GTA:IV but I&#039;m not looking forward to having to purchase new game platform to play it. :-)</description>
