<description>[...] And Schoenhof&#8217;s is still open. I broke my rule and bought several books that I don&#8217;t plan to read immediately, that indeed it&#8217;s not completely clear that I&#8217;ll ever read. But I was just so happy that the store is there! One book on learning kanji that I actually have started, a general Japanese grammar, and small individual books on verbs, particles, and connections (&#8221;Making your Japanese Flow&#8221;.) <description>[...] Now that I&#8217;ve finished my book queue, my next major queue to work through is my backlog of JapanesePod101 episodes. I first subscribed to that podcast just a few months after it started, but it took me several months after that to start really paying attention to it; by the time I got hooked, I was way behind. <description>Congratulations on finishing your book queue!

So, what do you do with all your books? I just moved, and I have many, many boxes of books to unpack, and probably not enough shelf space for them all. Plus there are some more books in storage, plus books from my parents' house in storage....

The Friends of the Palo Alto Public Library accepts book donations, but somehow when I go through my books I can't select very many to give up. As a result I've mostly stopped buying books, which isn't really very satisfactory, but at least it does prevent the overcapacity problem from getting worse.
