		<description>If I had my pick of superpowers, I would choose the Gift of Tongues -- to be able to hear people speaking in another language, and just automatically be able to understand and participate as freely as if they were speaking my native language.  "Faster than a speeding bullet" is trivial by comparison.

(Well, actually, maybe I'd choose the power to recognize friends, acquaintances, and celebrities after a single glance at their faces.  It would help me a lot in social situations.)</description>
