		<description>I use one of the Moleskine notebooks.  They are a bit too thick; many people prefer the chaiers ones.  I use it so I can partition several pages per context.  I tried 3x5 cards and found that getting them out of the notebook to work on was a problem.</description>

People seem to approach this in lots of different ways. The book itself, as I recall, takes a very all-or-nothing approach:  do it the "orthodox" way or you're still going to end up storing lots of post-its inside your brain, so to speak.  But in real life I think lots of people pick and choose.  That's certainly been true for me -- the "projects" part of the book never really seemed to fit math research, but the tickler system has been indispensable.</description>
