It has never been a status meeting, but a space in time for my team members to talk to me, alone, about issues that matter to them, and get feedback from me. I learn a lot from these conversations. They don't switch daily status meetings or corridor talks but we still always have something to talk about and learn - both myself and the employees. Very recommended.
