Dr Piotr Wozniak is my hero :) I have been following his work for quite long time and become interested in learning optimization. It really works! Yesterday I released http://omnimemo.com It is still limited with functionality but I think it is better to release early and get feedback as soon as possible. I would like omnimemo to become platform for adaptive learning that combines spaced repetition module with a set of functionality for collective learning that could be used in group setup (e.g. class at school). It you would be super if you could help me and suggest things you would like to use and share your ideas.
...BTW omnimemo is built on top of Rails and I am also polish guy :)

Note: If you just go to http://www.supermemo.net, you will be taken directly to the English language site.

Hmm, thanks for the reference, I hadn't gone out and checked their web site. It does look useable.

Interesting package. Thanks for pointing it out. I agree that it tempts me too. There is a web-version of it, and apparently you can import and export your own courses. I've just now played a smidgen with it, but the file format seems pretty trivial (It is called Q&A format and appears to be "Q:" beginning a question line, followed by "A:" and the answer, and a blank line). If you do digitize, it would be easy to create this format, and if you don't like the package, you could certainly export your database and print your own flash cards from it, if you want to go back to a more basic system. I.E. entering data into it isn't a one-way proposition. Their overall web site is not terribly well organized, and the web version of supermemo is not on all of the lists of their products, but its home page is: http://www.supermemo.net.pl I am guessing you will need to click on the "English" link, unless you know Polish...
