Homma's Brown Rice Sushi turns out to be quite pleasant. In a weird way, the rice actually had a less obtrusive flavor than in regular sushi; not sure if they use less vinegar, or the brown rice flavor and the vinegar flavor cancel each other out? The texture is more noticeable than with white rice, but not unpleasant. I'm curious what their chirashi sushi is like, too.

I'm not sure I'll make a habit of brown rice sushi, but it seems to work fine if the fish is good enough, which is what really matters.

You should give brown rice sushi a try. It might sound odd but it's surprisingly good. There's a place off California in Palo Alto called Homma's Brown Rice Sushi. Guess what they serve?

Speaking of which, we haven't talked in a while. How about lunch there sometime?

And yes, simvastatin does seem to be quite effective.

That's not the impression I got form Good Calories, Bad Calories. Of course, I could be misremembering, or the book could be incorrect.
