I was amused when I read: "...there was one woman on the New Status Quo team who was variously described as his siren, his muse, or his guardian angel." These words seem to me to describe the perspective of the design teams. I think Marjie described herself as "a guardian angel" and that fits for her role as a member of the Transforming Idea and Integration team. I'll wager it was a member of the Old Status Quo team who referred to her as a "siren." The other word "muse" sounds like it would be a good fit for the Chaos team.
