		<description>See in some games the innovation comes not from the mechanics, but from the story. Yes the series as a whole made some neat upgrades to the system, the biggest of which was the ability to present people&#039;s profiles in trials, something I don&#039;t understand why they removed in the 4th game. But everything else is basically tied to basic mechanics. The psyche-locks and perceptions are really just dressed up ways of presenting items and pressing testimony respectavely.

To me the most important focus from game to game should be the characters and story This is why I found the first trilogy to be far supirior than the last game. They were characters that actually felt like different people and people that I was actually interested in. Apollo Justice was missing that. The story was empty and the characters vapid. It lacked the charm of the first game. To me the original Pheonix Wright game was not about Pheonix, but about Edgeworth. he was the character I found facinating and fun. Plus any good vs. evil story will hinge on the stregth of its villians. Apollo Justice had extreemly weak villians. One of them didn&#039;t even have a real reason to do what he did and I couldn&#039;t get myself to care.</description>
