I never had the same dilemma as you, because it took me more than half the game to realise that the Big Daddies wouldn’t necessarily attack you.

I also felt no guilt in harvesting the little sisters at first, simply because I felt it was justified given the context.

I don’t think I’m evil, though clearly the game wants me to feel that way.
